Our Projects & Customers
Clearway is dedicated to developing and operating reliable, cost-effective renewable energy facilities that provide responsibly generated power to our customers while ensuring energy security for the future. As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we look forward to playing a leading role in meeting the growing demand for clean, low- or zero-carbon power.
2025 saw a significant increase in forecasted electricity demand from data centers across the country over the next several years, and Clearway will help meet this surge with clean, renewable energy. We announced more than 2 GW of new power purchase agreements with utilities and corporate offtakers to power data center growth in multiple states.
Rosamond South Delivers Reliable, Low-Cost Clean Power for California
In November, we celebrated the start of commercial operations for Rosamond South Energy Center in Kern County, California. The 140 MW solar and 117 MW energy storage project is delivering significant clean energy and grid reliability benefits to the Golden State by providing enough low-cost electricity to power more than 72,000 homes annually, especially during peak demand periods when energy is most needed.
Rosamond South 1 is under long-term contracts with several California load-serving entities, including MCE, The University of California, Rancho Cucamonga Municipal Utility, Eastside Power Authority, City of Moreno Valley, and Constellation Energy.
The project supports ambitious decarbonization and renewable energy goals across the state, while also improving grid reliability, reducing emissions, and enhancing air quality. Construction was led by McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. and supported by more than 400 union workers in collaboration with Laborers Union 220, Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters, Operating Engineers Local 12, IBEW Local 428, and Ironworkers Locals 416 and 433.
Rosamond South brings Clearway’s operating portfolio in Kern County to more than 1,500 MW of wind, solar, and energy storage, projects that contribute more than $20 million in annual property taxes to support local schools, emergency services, and community infrastructure.
Powering California Forward: New Clean Energy Projects Boost Reliability and Local Investment
In October we announced the start of commercial operations for two major clean energy projects online in California: the 200 MW Luna Valley Energy Center in Fresno County, and the final 113.5 MW storage phase of the Daggett Energy Center in San Bernardino County.
Together, the projects strengthen grid reliability during periods of peak demand while expanding access to low-cost, renewable power.
Luna Valley will generate enough electricity to serve more than 80,000 homes annually and is expected to contribute over $26 million in local tax revenue to support schools, emergency services, and public infrastructure. The completed Daggett Energy Center now totals 394 MW of battery storage and is expected to generate $68 million in local tax revenue.
Backed by long-term power purchase agreements with San Diego Gas & Electric, Southern California Edison, and Power & Water Resources Pooling Authority, the projects were built by more than 550 union workers and will deliver over $300,000 in ongoing community benefits, reinforcing Clearway’s commitment to reliable energy and local investment.
The Luna Valley project sits on land owned by the Westlands Water District which has been retired from farming to help preserve water for productive agriculture elsewhere in the Central Valley. Temporarily repurposing these plots for energy production allows the land to continue supporting farmers and providing for the American people while it rests, recovers and helps conserve water resources.

Texas Solar Nova
For more than a century, the Morrison Swenson family has stewarded their ranch in Spur, Texas with dedication and pride. Today, through their partnership with Clearway, they are helping ensure that their ranch remains strong and sustainable for generations to come.
Their story is one of resilience, renewal, and a deep commitment to the land—values that have been carefully passed down through the years. We are honored to collaborate with a family whose roots run so deep and proud to support their vision for a future that preserves both their heritage and their way of life. Watch this moving tribute to resilience, renewal, and the love of land passed down through generations.
Heritage Powered by the Sun
For the Davie family, whose mountain ranching roots date back to the mid-1800s, their legacy has long been defined by perseverance, stewardship, and a deep respect for the land. For more than a century, ranching and grazing have shaped their way of life and sustained their family’s connection to the land.
Today, the Davies are participating in the Milford Solar Project in Beaver County, Utah, leasing a portion of their less-productive acreage—land better suited for energy generation than agriculture. This partnership provides a reliable new source of income that strengthens their ranching operation and helps preserve their legacy for future generations, while also delivering dependable, locally generated power to the region.
We are proud to partner with the Davie family and deeply value the trust they have placed in us as we work together to responsibly steward their land. Watch this video to learn more!

Cedro Hill Repowered: Reliable, Low-Cost Wind Energy for Webb County, Texas
In January we were excited to announce that the repowered Cedro Hill wind farm was back online with an increased generating capacity of 160 MW. Delivering reliable, low-cost electricity to power over 40,000 homes in Webb County, the project represents a $269 million investment in South Texas. Repowering Cedro Hill with more modern, state-of-the-art equipment added decades to the project’s life and another $27 million in local taxes and economic impact in Webb County.
As part of the repowering, CPS Energy extended its existing agreement to support its commitment to growing its renewable energy portfolio. CPS Energy continues to benefit from 100% of the clean power generated by the Cedro Hill wind farm.
The repowering scope included the replacement of blades and nacelles on 100 turbines, with all removed materials recycled or diverted from landfills. Cedro Hill is our fifth wind repowering project in Texas and our sixth overall, bringing the total repowered capacity across our portfolio to more than 700 MW and reflecting our continued investment in ensuring our wind assets produce as much clean power as possible. We appreciate our partners at Wanzek Construction, Inc. and the 200 skilled construction laborers who led the repower and prioritized community stewardship through donations to the Hebbronville Food Pantry and the Webb Consolidated Independent School District.
