We want to build with you.

Jacinta Bacon, Senior Internal Auditor

Team member since 2019

I noticed a lot of women within leadership positions… I could really imagine myself in that position – or at least on my way there.

Sachin Dedhia, Director of Treasury Operations

Team member since 2018

I would describe the work environment and team dynamics as humble: team success over individual achievement, where others are always willing to pick up the phone, or have you stop by when you need help.

Julie Chambers, Solar Technician I

Team member since 2022

The best thing about working for Clearway is they truly care about their employees. They show this through continuous improvement in safety, clear plans for career advancement, training opportunities, mentorship programs, and extensive resources.

Melanie Tang, Senior Analyst, Accounting

Team member since 2021

One of the best things about working at Clearway is that everyone is super approachable and their willingness to help and collaborate. Clearway supports professional growth and development through the company-wide mentorship program.

James Kelly, Senior Director, Project Development

Team member since 2010

The best part is the people I work with and the challenges we face and how we work together to figure it out.

Inclusion matters here

Belong

Seven vibrant employee inclusion groups provide opportunities for volunteerism, leadership, career development, community, and cultural celebration for members – and for the wider employee population. Here are some of the companywide events recently hosted by Clearway’s Employee Inclusion Groups:

VTRN:

On Veterans Day, the VETRN EIG presented guest speaker Clifford Bauman, a 9/11 Pentagon first responder and suicide attempt survivor, who told his story and shared about the mental health crisis facing veterans today. With his story of hope, he spreads the message that “life promotion is suicide prevention.”

BIG

The Black Inclusion Group (BIG) presented a program during Black History Month featuring guest speaker Raya Salter, Esq., a leader in environmental justice, who shared about the intersection between the transition to clean energy, environmental justice, and the impacts on the Black community.

Women

For Women’s History Month: The Women’s Inclusion Group hosted a wonderful program featuring acclaimed international clean energy expert Katherine Hamilton.

Katherine discussed her backstory, the impact of women in leadership, and her views on trends and challenges in clean energy today, both nationally and globally.

Proud @ Clearway

The Proud @ Clearway Inclusion Group hosted a presentation about human rights in Ukraine for the LGBTQIA+ community stemming from the current war. This presentation was provided by expert Amie Bishop, Senior Research Advisor at Outright International and held during Pride Month.

HOLA

The HOLA Inclusion Group celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a presentation about the many different cultures and communities that the “Hispanic” community encompasses. This presentation was provided by Dr. Jean Andino of ASU, who discussed her career journey and her experiences as an Afro-Latina in STEM.

Asian Inclusion Group

In honor of AAPI Heritage Month, the Asian Inclusion Group hosted a thought-provoking program featuring Dr. Robert Ku of Binghamton University, who talked about the evolution of Asian American food and how it is part of a quest for “authenticity” related to the Asian American experience.

Allies

The Allies Inclusion Group presented a program on Allyship 101 in observance of Celebrate Diversity Month. Featuring a thought-provoking presentation by Wanda Cumberlander, a USC professor and organizational development and DEI consultant.
