Stacy Colby-King is the Vice President of Human Resources, leading Human Resources functions for both Clearway Energy Group and Clearway Energy, Inc.
Stacy brings more than 25 years of human resources and operations management experience in the renewable energy, financial services, and retail industries. Prior to joining Clearway, Stacy was President and founder of WinSquared HR, a consultancy and coaching practice helping companies to develop and optimize their people management practices and enhance their company cultures. Previously, Stacy was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Operations for Recurrent Energy. At Recurrent, Stacy developed and led its strategic HR function from scratch in support of rapid company growth. During her tenure, the company grew its employee base by 350% and achieved a 3-year plan revenue of $2.1B.
Stacy previously held various HR positions for Visa International, including Senior Director of Human Resources and Benefits. She started her HR career at Cost Plus World Market and was privileged to have been a part of the company’s turnaround, growth, and eventual IPO.
Stacy graduated with honors from California State University where she earned a BS in Industrial Psychology and a minor in Human Resources. She is also a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Strategic Workforce Planner (SWP). She is trained as a co-active coach and specializes in working with various DiSC personality assessments and The Five Behaviors™ program.
