Alicia Stevenson brings more than 15 years of corporate strategy, M&A, finance, program management, process development, and business operations to her role at Clearway Energy Group (“Clearway”). Including assets held through its affiliates, Clearway owns and operates over 8 GW in generation assets across 26 states, including one of the nation’s largest renewable energy fleets with over 6.9 GW in operating solar, wind, and energy storage. Clearway is also one of the country’s largest developers of clean energy projects, and today is advancing a nationwide pipeline of 30 GW.

Today, Alicia oversees Strategy, Business Operations, and Human Relations across the shared Clearway and Clearway Energy, Inc. platform. Alicia played a significant role in the creation of Clearway as a standalone company, leading a cross-functional team on the divesture and transition of services from NRG. Alicia shepherds Clearway’s ongoing business process improvements, leveraging her business, strategy, finance, and operations perspectives, to position Clearway as the leading renewables platform in the industry. Alicia joined the team in 2015.

Prior to joining Clearway, previously NRG Renew, she held senior roles in M&A, business operations, and origination at Recurrent Energy. Joining Recurrent Energy as an early employee in 2008, she was able to help build one of the industry’s most successful utility solar development platforms. Similarly, she navigated several recapitalization efforts, developed and managed business processes through growth, and held pivotal strategic roles as the company acquired or developed their pipeline. Previously, she held various positions in finance and energy in Citi’s investment banking group, IHS energy, and she started her career at the US Department of Energy.

Alicia holds a B.A. from UCLA in History and an M.S. from London School of Economics.
